About the Sales Engineer position
As a Sales Engineer at Qimarox, you are responsible for translating the wishes and needs of our customers into a suitable concept. You are the connection between the sales team and the technical experts.
Your responsibilities:
- You translate the wishes and needs of the customer into a suitable concept/design;
- You are alert to commercial opportunities and capitalize on them;
- You advise the customer regarding the possibilities, utilizing our standard components and configuring them according to the customer’s needs. With your technical background, you can also identify any potential risks;
- Once the wishes and possibilities are determined, you draw layouts and explain them to the customer;
- If the customer is satisfied with your concept, you prepare the calculation, create the quotation, and ensure it reaches the customer;
- Upon acceptance of the quotation by the customer, you ensure proper internal processing (and monitoring) of the order;
- Every day is different! From gathering wishes and needs to order processing, you are responsible for this entire challenging process;
- Additionally, you act as a resource for your sales colleagues regarding general technical issues.
This is who you are:
- You have a completed a technical study in mechanical engineering or mechatronics;
- Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor is a plus;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Familiarity with machinery directives and machine safety standards, such as NEN. We can provide training in this area if you do not have prior experience;
- You are proactive, commercial, independent, and able to work in a team.
