To determine the Prmk10’s emergency stop time, a number of values must be added together.
Reaction time of the electrical system (of the customer) (consisting of, among other things, switching time of the switch, reaction time of the control, reaction time of the frequency controller/relay) + reaction time of the brake + stop time to a complete standstill of the carrier.
E-components, speeds, weights, gearmotor choice, etc. all affect the result.
The motor brake bringing the carrier to a stop, the safety pins are also deployed (the pins themselves are not used for braking). Therefore, only an estimate (based on tests) can be given. The estimate is approximately 0.6s plus the reaction time of the electrical system. With an added volume, this can increase significantly. The only way to truly determine this time is by actual testing of the configured machine.

The standard solution is to use two proximity switches for each stop position. We also offer a motor with an encoder, capable of tracking its position.
Depending on the type, the safety-pins are pneumatic or electrically retracted. During normal operation, pressurized air or power is provided. If power or pressurized air is shut off, the pins will be activated. See video/animation.
We installed chain slack detection sensors at every corner of the carrier. These sensors can detect if there is a malfunction with (one of) the chains. When the carrier can’t move down, slack is created in the chains, which stops the machine.
Yes, with all our vertical conveyors it is necessary to use a frequency inverter. In most situations, the inverter also needs to have a “hoist” function for safe operating. Please contact our support if you have any further questions.

No, that’s not possible. The drive section is designed to work with the SEW motors. This way, we can make the mk10 have a relatively small footprint for its lifting capacity.

The Prorunner vertical conveyors always carry the CE certificate from Qimarox. When the system integrator incorporates the lift into a larger system, they must issue a CE certificate for the entire system to ensure overall compliance.
A Prorunner vertical conveyor is supplied as a mechanical component including the sensors and cabling up to the I/O module. The control/control box is not supplied by Qimarox, but comes from the system integrator.
This of course depends on the height of the lift and any accessories ordered. However, each lift can be sent in modules, which means that the volume can be very limited.
